Pit Bull Happenings is dedicated to "Pit Bull" Awareness.  We're here to deliver the Positive Pit Bull News.  To deliver you the Truths about this most amazing canine.  To give you the Pit Bull Facts and myths. To share the American Pit Bull Terrier's History.  Our initial goal was to deliver you the Positive News that we seldom hear about, however, after the creation of Pit Bull Happenings, we decided to go all out "Pit Bull" Our Ultimate Goal is to assist in Restoring the American Pit Bull Terriers Image back to their Glory days when they were "America's Family Dog of Choice"

 We're dedicated to Promoting Responsible Dog Ownership, the Importance of Neutering/Spaying your animals, to Educating the General Public on the Truths of the American Pit Bull Terriers.  We Support the Local Pit Bull Rescue Groups and applaud them for their Amazing Efforts.  We also are anti-BSL.  We work daily to bring you the Positive Pit Bull News that we seldom hear about, apparently the media doesn't see the Good News as newsworthy.  Pit Bull Happenings will work hard at finding Events throughout the Tampa Bay Area, the State of Florida, as well as around America. 

Pit Bull Happenings has dedicated a full page of the website to the Pit Bull Rescue Groups and we hope the Rescues take full advantage of having the Rescue Row page as well as the Rescue thread in the Pit Bull Forum.

Pit Bull Happenings are Advocates for the underdog per say, the American Pit Bull Terrier, as well as other Bully Breeds.  We created a Forum so people can share their experiences/stories, to help Educate as well as Learn.  The Forum is a place to meet new people and is a Family Friendly Community.  We also have a "Bull"etin Board where we'll post Announcements and Bulletins, so, if you you have an announcement or bulletin you would like posted please Contact Us. 

We also have a page dedicated to offering Links to various other organizations that are very knowledgeable, just remember I have no control over what they put on their websites so please check out their Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions.  I'm simply offering links to people who I feel are very Knowledgeable in regards to "Pit Bulls"

We want our Members to Participate and to help out where they can for the betterment of Pit Bull Happenings.  Without you this website won't grow or be a benefit to, in my opinion, what is the Most Spectacular Canine of them all.  We Need YOU!  We Want YOU! I'm Eric and currently own 5 dogs.  Freedom is about 12 years old.  She's a female "Pit Bull" mix who weighs 52 lbs.  Freeway is about 5 years old and weighs 59 lbs.  He's a male "Pit Bull" mix.  Bodacious and Dixie, who are brother and sister, turned 2 years old on July 25, 2009.  They are 50% American Bulldog and 50% Alapaha Blue Bulldog.  Their mother is a full blooded American bulldog and the father is full blooded Alapaha Blue Bulldog.  Bodacious weighs 90 lbs while his sister only weighs 63 lbs.  My newest Pack Member is Gabriel.  He is a male also a "Pit Bull" mix and weighs appox. 40 lbs.  I, first, was Fostering him for a local Pit Bull Rescue, the Rugaz Rescue, Inc.  I became a "Foster Failure" I adopted him.  He's an Amazing Dog!

I currently live alone, human wise, in a 3 bedroom house in Port Richey, Florida. My Pack have their very own bedroom.  I work a full-time job plus side jobs to make ends meet.  In my spare time, I like to spend time with my Pack.  I'm somewhat of a home body when I'm not working.  I'm currently Fostering and Volunteering for my Local Pit Bull Rescue Group, Rugaz Rescue, Inc.  "Pit Bulls" are by far, my canine of choice.  I currently feed four of my dogs Canidae All Life Stages dog food.  My oldest, Freedom, recently began to eat "Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Canine Formula" I had to switch her due to a newly developed allergy which I suspect is from a grain in the Canidae All Life Stages.  This particular Taste of the Wild is grain free and the Pacific Stream is especially good for the sensitive dogs which is definitely Freedom, very sensitive.  They go through a 44 lb. bag of Canidae about every 2 weeks. I'll discuss more about the dog food issues and important facts that the average person are unaware in, so keep checking my blog. 

I'm dedicated to help Educate the General Populous concerning the Truths about "Pit Bulls"  I have always been a supporter of "Pit Bulls" but have decided that the time is NOW to become more Active as well as Vocal for this Most Spectacular Canine!  In today's society,  the Absolute Best and Fastest way of getting messages or practically anything involving communications delivered to others is via the World Wide Web!    

We have pretty big hopes and plans for "Pit Bull Happenings"  We're very optimistic about the Future of Pit Bull Happenings.  We intend on growing this site to be the Best it can be.  To grow a community to whom we have many friendly faces and knowledgeable Members to help share stories and to Educate.  To offer special social events for "Pit Bulls" and their owners.  We're very optimistic in successfully getting the truth out about "Pit Bulls". To Educate the unEducated. To become a "one-stop shop" for "Pit Bulls" and Pit Bull types.  One day we'd like to offer products at a very Affordable Price. Products of Great Quality and hopefully Made in the USA (now that's going to be a tough task...haha). To offer all sorts of informational resources for dog owners and groups that support and know the truth about "Pit Bulls".  We want to connect with other legitimate "Pit Bull" websites, Rescues, Advocates, and the likes.  We want "Pit Bull Happenings" to be a part of bringing "Pit Bulls" back to being "America's Family Dog" of choice.  To return the "Pit Bulls" Reputation back to when they were loved and appreciated.  When they were remembered as War Heroes, such as Seargeant Stubby (RIP Sgt. Stubby) and US Customs super canine such as Popsicles whom had one of the largest cocaine busts in our country's history.  We want "Pit Bull Happenings" to Restore or be part of Restoring the "Pit Bulls" Image back to their glory days.  We want "Pit Bull Happenings" to be Everything "Pit Bull".
