Pit Bull Happenings Rescue's Adoption Center!

Star came to us byway our Rescue Vet. Her former owner had taken her into them stating they could not take care of her anymore after it was learned that Star had a cancerous tumor that they couldn't afford to remove. They brought her into the Vet wanting them to put her down. Our Vet couldn't put Star to sleep because she has an amazing temperament and is a wonderful and happy girl so our Vet reached out to us hoping we could help Star. We fortunately, were able to bring Star into our Rescue. We had her cancerous tumor removed and she's fully vetted and ready to find her Forever Home!

Captain is a very gentle, well mannered handsome boy. He weighs about 60 lbs and is good with other Dogs. Captain was found as a stray... thin and hungry scrounging and roaming the streets of downtown Tampa for survival. After all efforts to locate his owner had exhausted, the good people who found him had reached out to our Rescue for help. With their love and care for Captain as well as their willingness to help us, help them... we brought this handsome fellow into our Rescue. He's doing great and has been fully vetted out and is now in search of his Forever Home!

Muraco has the looks and amazing personality! Very good with other Dogs and great with humans. House and crate trained and has been fully vetted! He's very active and high energy! Loves to play! All around great Dog! Will make a great companion pet! Muraco was rescued from a county shelter and was scheduled to be killed...

Lucky was found as a stray roaming the streets of New Port Richey. He was emaciated, not doing so swell on his own. A man had found him and had him scanned and took all efforts in trying to find his owner. Well, the man already owned another dog who did not like other dogs so Lucky was living in the man's van out front and tethered. The school children from the bus stop loved Lucky and Lucky loved them... however, the man was very concerned for Lucky's safety because some neighbors did not like Lucky at all... bricks and stones were being thrown at Lucky fortunately missing him but hitting the van. This man reached out for help and we could not leave Lucky in that bad environment. So, now Lucky is one of our American Rescue Dogs now searching for his Forever Home! He was intact now altered and fully vetted! He is good with other dogs and loves his humans! Great personality and is very athletic and high energy!

Look at beautiful Micaela. She is about 3 1/2 years young, utd on her shots. She is great with everyone she meets including children and other dogs. Please consider giving beautiful Micaela her Forever Home. She's very well mannered and is an amazing girl who deserves the best!

Mercy is good with dogs and great with people. She's very active and loves to play. She loves to cuddle beside you with a more calm demeanor when inside. She's house and crate trained and will make a wonderful addition to practically any family setting. We rescued Mercy from a County Shelter that had her scheduled to be killed. She was turned in to Animal Services with her one eyed puppy who was rescued, leaving poor Mercy behind to die... When we learned about this, we rushed to save Mercy from the high kill shelter!

These puppies were rescued from a not-so-nice situation... and also out of concern or responsible and safe placement into a Forever Home, they along with their three sisters and Mom... were surrendered to our Rescue! They are currently undergoing all necessary vetting. They'll be available for Adoption very soon! We are now accepting Applications on them! If you are truly serious about adopting one, we'll collect a $100 (Non-Refundable) Deposit at the time of the Home Inspection. Upon the finalization of the vetting we provide, we'll then bring the puppy to you at which time you'll sign our adoption contract and pay the remainder of the adoption donation fee.
