"Pit Bull" Rescue: Florida Nonprofit Corporation!



Beach Blvd, Gulfport, Florida
10am to 6pm

Gulfport's Get Rescued is one of the largest such events in the state, with all profits to benefit participating non-profit rescue groups. Animal rescue organizations, many appearing with adoptable pets, take over Beach Blvd. to raise money and awareness for their causes. Additionally, animal-related vendors, artists and crafters offer their wares to festival-goers. Pet Related activities will include a pet parade (Bring your rescues and showcase them in the parade!), pet care education, pet services, a pet food and supplies drive, adoptable pets, free samples, training demos, food, music & games. Each year, thousands of attendees, many accompanied by their own canine companions, make their way to Gulfport to support what has become a beloved tradition.





Clearwater Pet Festival
March 24, 2012 10am to 3pm
Cleveland Street District - Downtown Clearwater

Description All pets and their owners are invited to the Cleveland Street District for the 7th annual Clearwater Pet Festival. This is a free, fun event on the 500 and 600 blocks of Cleveland Street (Ft. Harrison to East avenues). Activities include a pet parade, contests, Clearwater Police K-9 demonstration, animal rescue groups, pet supply vendors, entertainment and food.



Pawfest 2012

Event Description: This first Saturday in April has gone to the dogs. Kiwanis Club of Largo/Mid-Pinellas co-sponsor's its 6th Annual Pawfest! Bring your favorite pooch to participate in games, activities, lessons, and demonstrations. Spoil him or her with the bounty of products offered by the many vendors specializing in pet related products.By the end of the day, you'll not just have had a great day with your entire family, but you'll have helped raise funds that will be put to good use in your own community.



3rd Annual Loving Care Pet Fair

Description: The Loving Care Pet Fair's mission is to promote pet adoption & proper care of animals and raise needed funds for local pet rescues while finding forever homes for animals in need.Vendors of all kinds, including the pet industry, multiple pet rescues (many with pets),... great music, refreshments, raffles, contests and more. The Mounted Police (& their horses) and the K9 Police (& their dogs) have done demos in the past & we are working on that again. Come have some pizza (other choices, too), listen to great music, maybe even win a cruise! And - you may just decide to go home with a new buddy!The Loving Care Pet Fair - Where Adoption is the Best Option!
